The Gavel
Judgement comes and sways, until another judgement day.
But today of all days, I began to rest.
When one does begin to rest, he lays his feet below his bed.
Now begins the test.So onward, as I move my weary feet.
I seem to seem serene.
But am I?Or is this Mecella’s Dreams?
Am I a dreamer amongst the stars, or a vessel of hope?
Can I embark alone, or does the isle remain closed?
Maybe I’ll walk with another, if I am lucky.
Today, I walk alone. But then again, I do hear the noises that drive me wild.
Until this day, I do stand clear, of innocence of the beyond.
But if I may, still say today, that all I hear is well,
I do remember the day it came, the gavel of the realm.
Bodacious
She walks in commas, not straight lines,
hips speaking fluent rhythm,
Every step is a sentence that knows where it’s going.
I admire the architecture of her presence,
soft power, gravity with intention,
a body that doesn’t apologize for taking up space.
Curves don’t whisper,
they hum low and steady,
like bass in a song you feel before you hear.
Her waist tells stories,
her thighs keep time,
Every sway is a reminder that beauty was never meant to be sharp.
I love the way abundance looks confident,
how fullness becomes language,
How bodacious is just another word for alive.
She is poetry without permission,
a rhythm you don’t rush,
a verse you let breathe.
Coming Of Age
I write in curves,
in commas shaped like hips that refuse silence.
Thick women enter a room
and gravity renegotiates its contract.
Thighs speak first
soft thunder, slow confidence
the kind that knows it’s being watched
and dares you to look longer.
Bellies like poetry you don’t skim,
asses that rewrite posture,
Breasts heavy with presence
not an apology.
They don’t chase attention
attention kneels.
And then,
the trans women.
God took his time there.
Feminine fire with extra voltage,
silk over steel,
beauty that challenges the timid
and seduces the bold.
Curves blessed twice
once by softness
Once by power.
They don’t ask permission to exist.
They arrive.
Eyes sharp, lips knowing,
bodies that confuse shame out of men
who were never meant to be small.I’m a sinner with a pen,
writing hymns to bodies that refuse erasure.
Thick, bodacious, defiant flesh
That says desire is not polite
It’s honest.And I love honesty.
The Morning Sun
As it beacons through my shaded window,
I learn to live again.
I aspire for greatness.
I achieve things.No longer lost.
I am the controller of narratives.
The breaker of false hope.
The bringer of peace. And once it’s fall time,
You’ll see me masquerading around on my high horse.Growth.
Lost In The Valley
I’ve been wandering for years, it seems
Searching for answers, lost in thought
Trial after trial, painful event after another
And yet it’s just another day of mineMy mind wanders down the darkest valleys
I cannot for the life of me let my past go
And only when I indulge in my vices
Do I once again feel as though I am aliveDrugs and alcohol fueled my early adult years
Without my father, and a tumultuous upbringing
Belittled and abused my whole life
Not even becoming a soldier could make me strongerSuffering for years, for decades, even
Not a single day where life made sense
Only in my earliest years, in the beginning
Where life was devoid of purpose and meaningI’ve grown to wonder, is my family safe?
Will the evil men conspiring in my life take my own?
Am I to embark on a journey far away?
Do I ever contact my family again?Tomorrow’s weather rings in new hope for recovery
And I will be lost in translation when that day comes
Still, I pray one day I will awaken from this nightmare
And memories of my past will no longer haunt me.
The Shot
What we asked for was too clever
Aiming in the best of weather
The shot of all our lives
To kill him? No, just our demise. To speed things up, a revolution
To cause chaotic political pollution
To be against us isn’t wrong
For this isn’t even my song. And when the verdict came
Bullets into the lone gunman
All became so true
His glorious purpose, to be renewedSweet nothing’s, that’s all it took.
Like candy from a baby.
And someday maybe they’ll figure it out.
Someday I say, maybe….
Revolution Of The Mind
Lost in thougt, caught up in a world where
I’m spinning and twirling out of control
With nowhere to go, do I keep spinning?
Or do I crash and burn into the moonlight?Or does a man learn to glow up and fight?
Bitterness with passion, everlasting,
With secrets to kill for, bridges burned,
And a damned feeling of prosperity. No other way to put it, frankly,
Walking my walk, talking my talk,
I can see it through, euphoria, a world
Where everything is my own.But of course, at 35, I’m grown enough
To say, everything will be okay
For the roads less traveled can at times be
The ones worth the long, long wait
Too Much Affection
It sways with grace,
And moves with such rhythm,
That I cannot help but to look in awe.Starstruck and flabbergasted,
A moment between you and I,
Ever lasting for a short time. And I look to the Sun when it’s over,
Lost in translation, sinnings all done,
This was the night to last forever. How she swayed into the moonlight,
With not a single care in the world,
It felt like nothing else truly mattered. And when the Sun met the Moon,
The reflection was not without causes,
And the effects were not without infliction. To this day, many pages remain unturned,
Uncharted, and untouched,
And that’s the way it’ll have to be.
Ain’t No Other Feeling
Swinging around in an era of new beginnings,
Feelings transpire that inspire us to climb the empire,
Walking this path alone, stronger from our failures and sinning,
We’ve begun to add fuel to this burning, everlasting fire.Embers spark a light for us to take the path that takes us forward,
Onward until no other moment can overtake your passion somehow,
Toward the moment when life and love intertwine, taking on sorrow,
We’ve come to the point where we can love, for now.Angst and humility used to conquer my days, my weeks, my tomorrows,
Agony was the purest form of concentration known on my land,
But now, it seems, I can walk amongst those I see unborrowed,
Unbothered, unafraid, and with a dignity that even hate bears no sorrow. If at any time you feel that the mind is weaker than the other senses,
Simply concentrate inward, reach until you’ve been to where the mind is,
Temporary moments of bliss, and dreaming of when we kiss,
Together, forging in happiness for everyone, again, at a time like this.
Tempest
Flowing down the river gently and calm,
Listening to the virtue of poetry in my ear.
What a year, lost in trials and tribulations,
Motivated to take on the whole nation.Patience.
As I walk forward in this big world on my own,
I can’t act like a man that is not grown.
But still, I partake in acts and feel tremendous fear,
Only to drive onward, and never shed a tear. And still I wonder.
Exactly where am I going, and what must I do?
Will this long path of mine lead back to you?
And what is it that you see?
Togetherness? Matrimony?But I digress.
Each day becomes just another moment of mine,
Where I live life and try hard to unwind, lost in time.
But I seem to never do;
The path truly must lead back to you.So, I pray.
Belligerent Love
Wandering down alleys, a belligerent fool
Tipping over trash cans, you can see my drool
Breaking windows, look, there’s a tool!
But not a physical instrument, a person to behold. And lies were told on the most random of days,
I fought my friends in the sun’s powerful rays,
I contemplated in the worst of ways.
My thoughts I cannot share. And all of this while drunk on beer,
And love on days with little to no fear,
Tomorrow’s lessons seemed so near,
But here I couldn’t sleep.I cried those nights; the regret was deep.
My friends would no longer seek.
My companionship, my actions bleak.
Their friendship was now gone. And years later, it seems so long
From yesterday’s belligerent song,
I’m all alone ripping this bong,
But I must stop that, too.My faults turned my life to stew,
Years later, sober, if I only knew,
What would my actions do,
I would have turned to love.Lessons learned; now the white dove
Has come from high and up above,
And what’s the message that it speaks of?
Brandon, never again. So, forward on, I accept my sin,
Where today’s journey has yet to begin,
I’m sorry, friends, you’ll always win.
I meant to show you love. And belligerent I’ll never be,
Because I must embrace destiny,
I swear, I must embrace destiny,
For my friends, they’re now all gone.
Return to Eden
Take a plunge, deep into
Embedded leaves and growing weeds,
Cascading trees, enveloped by bees
Where monks pray on their knees.
Streams of youth have seemed to
Bring the current from a serene lake.
Tethering in a ray of sunshine, forging misplaced happiness
for my sake.Floating down a river,
Growing shivers,
From the moonlit skies,
And I suppose I’ll die here
From the beauty of my glaring eyes,
Matrimony,
Yes, I take this dying time to think of you.
Agony is fortunate, for all I do is
Think of you.Earthly Bella, I suppose I’ve grown a muck dreaming of you.
The Sun now shines and in your presence,
Only rays penetrate through,
And brings me down a golden plate
Baring the fruit of all our Gods.
But you’re the only apple that I dream of.
Would If I Said
Would if I said
The change of command
across the barren, naked land
was nulled? Stopped by one to stand,
so high and mighty; Man.Suppose the theory of God
Is true
And She, Mother Nature, only knew
of the greater of the two, one was man
But the better was a girl. How’d you react
if in fact
God herself was a woman?
No penis-bearing angry man,
just an entity with a plan. How’d you feel, if copper and steel
Were derived from her eyes.
All facts and lies
Came from her demise.
Would Man be surprised?Man would say such is a lie,
“I hold the key to life and pride,
Who builds, conquers, and rules the world.
No space for a little girl”.Yet man alone would not exist,
There is no urban myth,
For the greater of the two had been Woman.
Who knew?Creator of ALL life
and by ALL I mean all
Little and small
Tiny or tall
Woman created it all.The building you see across the street
One of her smallest feats.
The life within yourself
Her greatest ability dealt.Like ants working for the Queen
who provides all life.
Man, created for Her protection
While She provided all life. Her views pure,
Her smile true.
She knew exactly what to do.Yet her master plan,
The Man,
developed his own stand.Stole from the tree, and conquered the land.
All with his left hand.
And power grew.
He learned to write.
And then he wrote — “God is Man”.In the end, of course, He’ll be judged.
Most likely sent to hell.
And for Woman?
I pray their story we’ll all tell.
Five
Five steps into the new chamber
The look of concern was the trial of the term
The pressure was the ability to learn
The teams were set, maybe too many.
Gather around the fire, and bring out plenty
of things to speak of before the winter approaches.
And follow the leader amongst the chaos.
Outside, there is a world to remark on
and many prints to collect; prey divided.
Conquer and destroy.
Some day the aisle of heaven shall come, and
maybe a house for five.
Sex
Can we simply intertwine?
reach around the sun to pretend
we live and act and move and sweat and collide
throughout time
glass of hour so fine, like blood pumping vessels
and the time it takes for me to unwrap my gift, again.
A veil covers the feel of her unnatural and real
lovers are teal, so soft to eyes to cry despise despite all lies.Another time, another time, another time…
At your request, a silent whisper near your ear.
The passion coursing drenched the drapes up upon the window seal.
To Be
Alive
Today. What was that feeling? Can we feel it again?
Sidewalks
Behind the mirror stands the image
Two sides of a story bound together
Filmed into the sanctum vintage
Of momentum holding you.
Slanted flower, blossom beneath laters
Exchange numbers as you do.
Follow pattern-scripted sidewalks
And you know now, I love you.
Slightly fall where evening makes the summer
A conundrum I hear calling
Is it time, can it be now?
Falling onto you.
You as though the nearest path of a rumor is, timidly,
Making all the best of disassembling a view.
Holding onto what the moment brings to me, destiny,
Breaching what defines the windows’ long cascading view.
Is it me, can it be I’ve stacked the plates oddly too high
Longing just to dream of days when I will be with you.
You can cry, but I promise you that death is an option
If I do, know someday the path must lead to you.
Such
I think her name resembled
All the stories of the past.
It blossomed in the evening
And it rose in morning’s past.
Her name, I think, was enveloped
And sent across the sea.The story of an epic, loving
Heart-filled young girl.
I cannot say her name for
If she truly does exist,
In the future’s time, I’d hate
To read this and not feel
Such bliss.
Sun God
Lyrical benevolence, pressuring the evidence
Calling all the eyes, end the compromising felonies
Grow you like plants, built to crumble but spread decadence.
A dream. An act, up upon the tallest tower,
The flower, the seed, or the one you can’t obtain
All about the pain, the gain, and the feeling you all want
And the green, the prize, the one that will devour
All the evidence is clear, and yet you fight like you’ve got powers,
Collecting all our enemy’s equipment just so we can wallow
Into shadows of debt, yeah it’s all of us, we’re cowards.
In all of us. I am not a dream; we’ve got the power
To put an end to all the starving, and the mining of our hearts,
Our souls, our wallets, and our smarts.
It’s our country, and without you, like the Romans, it will fall.
Can’t you see? Literally, it consumes us all.
Rising waters, gas, the chronic
Sun God, envy, hell, and snow,
Got to go, got to run to the tallest tower you’ll ever know
Blinded by the fluorescence of the light that’s made by man.
Today
The sound of the noise
In the bush made it seem
As if life is a trip
Like a pond or a stream.
Yet to be against time
And to act really mean,
And believing in Gods
Is a senseless dream.
So be all today!
Conquer your way, and if
Tides turn, simply win your way.
Tomorrow is today!
So be your way and remember
Today is today is today.
To Sara
Empty like a shell box, float along in motion
Passing all the fishies as they journey across the world
Take a little time up near the ocean’s notion
Remembering back on something caused his heart to disappear.
Well, maybe it didn’t vanish, but surely it was taken
Or given, exchanged, or even possibly shared.
Reminiscing this night, what a way to float on
Remembering the moment when his favorite had appeared.
Kiss upon an Angel, lips taste just like honey
Suddenly the image of bumble bees stormed his mind.
And just when it all felt like it would last forever,
A life of mine reminded me that your best moments are gone.
Spinning round and round, circles are gone inbound
In a field where time did yield and you shined like the sun.
I simply do remember, although my thoughts are growing thinner
A touch of the speakers of the spinners of the world.
And as the moment vanished to become my thoughts unbound
He’ll never forget that night, spent around the merry-go-round.
War
Denying myself the pleasure of the pain that is my calling
Embedded webs of distance on top, more than truly meets an eye
Casting shadows with my body, as I walk under the same light
Cast on my body and the bodies of my love.
The time I spent, I spent amazing, kissing lips and moonlight gazing
Marijuana frenzy grazing, dazed and need I say with love?
No more of the same changing, whom I loved was quite amazing
Bed tonight will prove my love for them is more of time nor gone.
And my heart will scream to me, as it does now, in aging to conquer
Not the bodies of the people all around I see,
but the body within me.Maybe soon, my hand will feel the same effects and mass appeal
My eyes will see the beauty, as they’ve never seen before.
The days I last remember, love was there, began in November
As to timber in the forest of the tallest trees of known
Might I moan, or grunt, or shiver quickly, I am out of pace,
Born before this moment’s ending, taught to live the land with grace.
Perhaps a son, my only wanting of a person on this place,
Keep alive a walking pattern, man of God, son of god.
Who Am I?
Who Am I?
Mecella Defined.
Loving, caring, superstitious
Soul of men intertwined.
Plural speaks, and do I think?
Can you find the river bank?
If you think you can,
supposedly you guessed again.Of course, you’ll always sin.
Man has failed a million times again.
Infinite to win, treachery you’ll speak.
I am just the river’s peak.
Put forward another feat.Seven secrets pass away
into another day. Glory
Overtaken by words you’ll give away.
I am only trying to be
Held back until May.
Unanswered are scripted words
hidden beyond the bay.Man will see who I may be
Enchant the nearest lady
Capture karma by the neck
Engulf the flame of Hades.
Lie amongst the greatest foes
Lure in pressured fates.
All under the might of the Sun.Sevens are my Eight.
Plane Ride
Okay, the moment arrives
And now it’s time to take a ride
Remove the fold from your eye
And buckle down your pride for now
Enjoy the moments in your mind, remembering
The evening when the plane had landed in the yard
When you were young
Another second passed by is time we spent together
Under raining drops of water, cursed in sweaty umbrellas.
Kiss me, you gave, and taken like a king
I’ll land in the yard and dream of days feeling quite serene.
Practicing for this moment.
I’ve got a million things to make sure this is right.
Tonight the pressure envelopes the current weather’s might.
The morning dew, it’s hot.
It brings a pattern like a pile of everlasting rocks,
A mountain to climb since this is the first time I have been gone.
For so long I’ll remember the evenings we’ve shared,
The glaring starlight pictures my eyes dreamt to dare.
To see, to gaze, yonder this way, lovely woman that I remember.
Fight with me, and I will win another envelope.
Drenched in sin, maybe this is the year of the change,
The path I’ll take is nothing ever the same.
You’ll take my hand, I command it; now hug me here.
A life of the divine.
passion
Has not your beauty ever been seen?
Beyond the reach forth on I walk
The time in which I have come clean
And angst amid the hunter talk.
In winter’s dam amongst the realm
Of love, since they had gone away.
Of letters sent along the stream
Your heart to be my stalk.A vale of leaves gateway the known
Your eyes beacon unsettled leer.
Hence, you to come and act alone
To mine, a grand unwanted glare.
My heart deliverance a tone.
Deny the hatred in my ear.
Ignorant lover! My heart a drone!
My inner conscience screaming fear.Fear to be my own.
I’ve grown hate, and grown alone.
My Heart In My Hand is For You
At first glance, I had a chance
& embraced life in second’s hands
I looked to fill a void inside
And came across a friend
A lady gliding free across
The seas of who is free
Spirited and inside of me I
Saw a chance for love.
And so it happened.
Right before friends
I never wished for this to end
and then began a descent
to never seeing her againthe moment where the path in which
“I met you there, remember?
I do not remember the day, but
It’s right there in November”
Cold out and late and you
were full of energy, and LIFE.
And I sat there and marveled at your
every word of life.My eyes have not seen you
in eons. They truly miss you.
I’m as confused as you are about me,
but my eyes, they truly miss you.
I’m not perfect, no saint, and can’t fly.
But you, as a friend, would stop my long cry.
There is an enormous field of force,
blocking me from you
but all I wish to do is say, “hello”.There is nothing you can give me
that I may deserve.
But from the kindness of my heart,
to the kindness of your spirit,
I ask,
Will you please be my friend?
Motivate
Virtuous, ambiguous
Unknown to you
Mischievous and devious
How much for you?
Gathering the punctuation
Cultivate a mild relation,
Placed to pace a rhyme,
So blunder like you like to write.
Angrier to motivation,
Motivate to move
So like the power of the sun
Is now the only light in the room?
Mind like a Book
I walk a slightly different path
And seem outcast, yet I do know last
It is the math of which fails me right
Difference in feelings yet righteousness throughout life
Gentle grasp and grace; consciously knowing all rights for you
In line are sights derived from paths grown high for you
Enlist, bathe cold transpired or hot as the Nile
Tempt is not foul.
For you.
Only the glistening act of the cloud could ponder “rift chain broken glass”.
Reenact without past, gripping onto the fast charted pace of age; accept fate.
Do break glass.
Melancholy
Peer away from the river near the bay.
Moments.
Sharing nothing but our bliss
Lean closer, over
Closer, over… Now we kiss
and the Sun just blessed our presence
Like a God risen from the ashes, bound to heaven
Walk parallel to my freedom now
down an aisle, I know this moment would last forever
and then I took my eyes off your picture.
Lethargy was taking on me,
like a Green-Leaf Melancholy Marijuana Peace
Two fingers in the air for you
One for you, another for you.
I give you a piece of me, my flesh and my blood
Till I give you the peace in my blood
from my heart.
Honestly, I don’t know where to start.
I have been writing, and now it’s getting dark,
and yet the ocean can’t compare, or yet embark
on the flower; you said it was okay to have.
Well, you didn’t say it, but I see it.
Can we be it at any time?
A Heart to Explode
Borrow something that doesn’t belong to you,
Give it back the way it was,
But act as though you know it wasn’t,
Was it ever love?Tonight it became clear: the sky.
The Moon was seen in the sky.
The wind cried, and the stars shone
Into the New Year.A growth of more to be revealed,
As thousands of bodies are yet revealed,
My love for her is yet revealed,
My love, my love is gone. There is no answer right now,
My head has turned, my mind frowns,
Sleep calls, dreams inbound,
Life is but a dream.
Eden
Take a plunge, lunge forth deep into embedded weeds of leaves
Cascading trees, enveloped by bees where monks pray on their knees,
Streams of youth seem to bring the current from a serene place,
Together weathering a sunshine forging misplaced happiness for our sake.Floating down a river, tempted to shiver from the moonlit skies,
Cries, wherever one might die from the beauty of such a sight,
Denying the days since the birth of light,
Agony trembles at the sight of you.Beautiful lady enveloped in whatever you may wear,
Spare me words as if you care; take my heart without despair,
And bring me gold plates bearing glistening fruits from the Gods.
An apple of knowledge, you possess.
Dreams up on dreams
A pattern in which your feet hit the ground
Your conscious speaks through eyes inbound
a link between another sound,
a static moment I can’t put down.As if our minds are only one,
Sub-outlet powered by the Sun
Amidst the days of laughter and fun
a giant ball of after-punLike karma from the skies
our aura emits many cries
and we may raise high
but karma lets us never fly.I let the people take the land
and stand with high-raised glands in hand.
I silently shift the scene
the hand is made and seems serene. It is not a dream
If seconds relieve, then we boast the same team.
And overlooking you would be mean
so like the same people, we’re the same team.Pointless random slander written aimlessly in junctions
Functions no way in a good way unless read through others’ eyes.
Beautiful Eyes
Beautiful skies and Beautiful eyes
You possess a cosmic force that
Even hate can’t despise
It’s beaming out from your eyes
Your brown, beautiful eyes
I know you hold a lot within
With such beautiful eyesAt times your words are scarce
And I know, it’s me too
You keep a lid on top of the bottle
And you sip from it too
“What to do, what to do”
Just like me, but in you
You think a lot, and hold it in and
“It’s the best I can do”And from me, onto new
“You are quite beautiful”
A character of elements that’s hidden
Deep within you
Within words that aren’t spoken
And eyes that tell stories of times
When you loved and the fun
Of Such prolonged glory
It’s your eyes, it’s your eyes
You’re looking up at the skies
With such beautiful, magical
Cute, big, bright eyes
Who’d despise you, pretty lady?
I’m guessing nobody knew that heaven’s entrance
Way to happiness were eyes latched on you.
Angst
Blank mind spread across a bed sheet
Covers on the ground beneath my feet
And where we meet
Power collides, infinitely spiraling
when you speak
Mind vivid together we are flying
to reach a new peak. And I’m in Heaven
floating around the Sun
and it’s in you I take the time to run
to.
The sky from night to blue
Cold crisp morning dew
Foggy windows, sweaty arm draped on top of youI see your eyes, and I see the sun rise
Reminiscent of a poem make me cry
And when I die
The feeling won’t erase memories
Of humming bees and crashing bodies
On two knees eclipsing rises
Riding waves and dirty scratching for
A love of painted actions towards climax
Relax and realize for
Us to conquer, theorizing the time is here
To come.Release your wings, girl, touch the sky!
A Vale Of Tears
Forgiveness.
Evaluate all that is great, yet tempted by fate
Put on a platinum plate, the wrongs I have done.
Create a vast mass of hope, hang me by the rope,
It’s just a Midsummer’s day.
Much more worst then words filled with hate,
telling me how this came late; instead I’m embedded
in my bed, pillow atop my head.
I have not heard words from you in months.
Agony, sorrow, enveloping my Spirit until
A second life I had to borrow.
“Maybe… tomorrow.”
Continuous thoughts of mind, of mine, hence forth Fall time.
Continue on my grind, fell from the wrath of Heaven,
A place as you, so Divine.
Infiltrate my mind, my lady, such a beautiful Bella,
For me to walk as Angelic Mecella.
Mind exploding, life imploding, Love
To get back to me was no faint task,
for I had damasked all 19 years
With agony and tears,
timid, filled with fears,
and years;
Have I not, for I love you yet, forgiveness?
A Kiss
Is it wrong? No.
It simply can’t be.
Images are transcribed through my eyes,
Like a symphony of lyrical ballads,
Or a canvas full of vivid livelihood.
I believe I understood you when it happened.
Revamped, my spirit and my lust for what I longed for,
Again I’ll explore like a child who yearned for feelings indescribable;
Poetry undeveloped yet flooded with passion.
Brain movement, everlasting, imagine, you and me,
Topics of a poetic entrapment, for love,
And again I can’t describe a moment like this.
You did it so quickly, and took a piece of
Unobtainable happiness.
Now I see what the feeling quickly taking over me is,
A feeling I know that simply cannot be, and
Because the table turned so heavenly, I do now feel desire
To embark on your empire.
Can I climb? High and higher,
So that until I reach the peak, my love will not expire.
